Review permissions

  1. Start the tool you need and follow the macOS prompt. Camera and microphone access is requested when used, not as a condition for screen-only recording.
  2. If access is denied, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and review the relevant category.
  3. Return to Screengaze. If macOS asks you to restart the app to apply a change, finish any task before quitting.

The “Elegir con macOS…” alternative

From macOS 15.2, a session-based full-display capture alternative is available. It uses a filter authorized for that session. Floating controls are hidden by default because they may appear in the recording; controls remain available from the app menu.

Control names in quotation marks match the current Spanish app interface; English explanations describe the same controls.
