Recording and editing on your Mac

Capture, editing and export run on your computer. A project stores source files and edit settings. Sharing an MP4, GIF or editable package is a separate action you choose.

Local recognition

Apple Speech is used when recognition for the language is available on-device. Whisper processes audio through a local helper; downloading models needs the network but does not mean uploading a recording for transcription. Models are managed separately from portable projects.

Optional typing activity

Typing detection requires enabling it and granting permission. It stores timing, coarse activity and geometry to suggest intervals; it does not store typed text, letters, key codes or titles. Field zoom uses Accessibility when the source application exposes that geometry.

Account and licence connections

Google sign-in, purchasing and licence validation require account services. A personal licence permits up to 30 days offline after the last successful validation. Local media processing does not mean all account services work offline.

Control names in quotation marks match the current Spanish app interface; English explanations describe the same controls.
